Joseph T. Rallo

Chief Executive Officer

Joseph T. Rallo has been the Chief Executive Officer of EF Hutton since he co-founded the firm in May of 2020.

Prior to co-founding EF Hutton, Joseph held several leadership positions in the Investment Banking and Securities industry with over 15 years of experience in public and private transactions including IPOs, Secondaries/Follow-on Offerings, Registered Directs, SPACs, PIPEs, Privates, Fixed Income and Fairness Opinions. Most recently, Joseph was Co-Head of Investment Banking/Managing Director at Aegis Capital. Prior to that, he was a Vice President in the Financial Institutions & Real Estate Investment Banking Group at JMP Securities before becoming a Director in the Investment Banking Group at Maxim Group. Throughout his career, Joseph has closed more than 500 transactions for over $60 billion in gross proceeds.

Joseph proudly serves on the executive board of directors for The Rousseau Foundation, a nonprofit
organization dedicated to empowering youth in communities with the greatest need to reach their full potential
and pursue higher education, and he serves on the advisory board for Keep A Child Alive, a nonprofit
organization that provides healthcare, housing, and other support services to HIV/AIDS-affected communities in
Africa and India. Additionally, Joseph serves on the board for Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, which was
founded by Princess Katherine to reduce and relieve the suffering of physically and mentally disabled children,
orphans, the elderly as well as to improve medical facilities in Serbia, and he serves on the board of Lang Lang
International Music Foundation, which was founded to give all children access to a music education, regardless
of their background. He also proactively addresses the needs of children and veterans through his corporate
partnerships with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Heroes Among Us.

Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.

David W. Boral

President

David W. Boral has been the President of EF Hutton since he co-founded the firm in May of 2020.

Prior to co-founding EF Hutton, David held several leadership positions in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets industry with over 15 years of experience leading and participating in transactions including IPOs, Secondaries/Follow-on Offerings, SPACs, PIPEs, Reverse Mergers, M&A, Bankruptcy/Restructurings, Cross Listings, and other private and public offerings in the US and abroad. Most recently, David was Co-Head of Investment Banking/Managing Director at Aegis Capital Corp, and prior to that, he was a Director in the Investment Banking Division at Maxim Group.

In addition to his work at EF Hutton, David is dedicated to improving the world around him, specifically the lives
of children and veterans. He currently serves on the advisory board for Keep A Child Alive, a nonprofit
organization that provides healthcare, housing, and other support services to HIV/AIDS-affected communities in
Africa and India, and he serves on the board for Lifeline Humanitarian Organization, which was founded by
Princess Katherine to reduce and relieve the suffering of physically and mentally disabled children, orphans, the
elderly as well as to improve medical facilities in Serbia. He also partners with St. Jude Children’s Research

David holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University.

Jill O’Connell

Chief People Officer

Jill O’Connell has been the Chief People Officer at EF Hutton since January of 2022.

Throughout her more than 20-year career, Jill has held several leadership positions in human resources within the financial services industry delivering strategic human resources solutions and building strong culture and portfolios of ground-up programs that successfully identify, attract, and retain top talent. Prior to joining EF Hutton, Jill was the Senior Vice President and Head of Talent Management at Edelman Financial Engines, served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Cengage, and held a variety of leadership roles focused on talent strategy and organizational transformation during her time with Fidelity Investments, where she spent most of her career.

Outside of the office, Jill is an active member of her local community as a Trustee on the Boys & Girls Club of America’s Northeast Trustee Board using her passion for organization and leadership development as well as talent identification to help make a difference in the lives of America’s next generation of leaders.

Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the College of Arts and Sciences at Boston University.

Ben Piggott

Senior Managing Director of Research

Ben Piggott has been the Senior Managing Director of Research at EF Hutton since July of 2020.

Prior to joining EF Hutton, Ben held several leadership positions during his 15-year buy-side career as an investment professional. He spent time with Fidelity’s Asset Management division as well as Legg Mason focused on both international and domestic small cap companies spanning industries including technology, healthcare, consumer discretionary, energy, utilities, and industrials. Most recently, Ben served as the Head of Corporate Development at Laird Superfood where he led business development activities.

Ben holds his bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University.

Benjamin Reed

Head of Wealth Management

Benjamin Reed has been the Head of Wealth Management at EF Hutton since May of 2021.

Throughout his 13-year career, Benjamin has helped raise capital for numerous IPOs, secondary offerings, PIPEs and SPACs for retail markets, emerging growth, small and middle market companies in the biotechnology, healthcare, technology, and energy sectors. Prior to joining EF Hutton, he worked at Maxim Group, LLC and Dawson James Securities.

Benjamin holds his bachelor’s degree in economics from Villanova University.

Ryan Whalen

Deputy General Counsel

Mr. Whalen has over 21 years of experience as a litigator with a national practice counseling clients faced with complex business disputes.  As lead counsel, he has tried dozens of cases before federal and state courts across the country, and arbitral tribunals (including FINRA).  He regularly handled securities litigation, financial disputes, corporate governance / director and officer litigation, breaches of fiduciary duty, fraud, professional malpractice, employment law, and whistle-blower claims.  He represented investment banks, hedge funds, public companies, directors and officers, and investors.   He often represented clients seeking to enforce contractual covenants, including, rights of first refusal, lock-ups and non-dilution agreements, which included seeking and obtaining emergency applications for temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions.  Mr. Whalen also has extensive experience conducting internal investigations for regulated businesses, including, broker-dealers.  Prior to joining EF Hutton, Mr. Whalen was a partner at Gusrae Kaplan Nusbaum PLLC.  Mr. Whalen received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
